Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and personal assistance with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report notable changes to the nursing team
- Document care and observations clearly in the patient record to keep everyone informed
- Support safe transfers and ambulation while following proper body mechanics
- Communicate with teammates and families to ensure coordinated, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required) — you must be a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment
- Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to make residents’ days better
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing care practices and infection control
- Taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
- Basic charting and documentation skills
