Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography (including 3-D mammography) with patient-centered care
- Assist radiologists during stereotactic biopsies, fine needle aspirations, and needle localizations
- Operate and maintain Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment safely and effectively
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in Epic to support excellent continuity of care
- Follow isolation precautions and facility infection-control protocols to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with radiology, interpretation services, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely results
- Provide compassionate patient education and answer questions to reduce anxiety during imaging and procedures
Qualifications
- Active California Radiologic Technologist license (CA License required)
- ARRT (registry) and ARRT Advanced certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant mammography/imaging experience
- Familiarity with Epic charting system (charting in Epic required)
- Comfortable with stereotactic biopsy procedures, fine needle aspiration, and needle localizations
Knowledge & Skills
- 3-D mammography (Hologic 3D) and Hologic Affirm BX operation
- Screening and diagnostic mammogram techniques and positioning
- Stereotactic biopsy and fine needle aspiration support
- Needle localization procedures
- Strong Epic documentation skills
- Adherence to isolation precautions and safety protocols
- Excellent patient communication and comfort management skills
