Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
- Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
- Support a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and families
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Comfortable working a 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift
- Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to follow facility policies and contribute to a positive resident experience
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic resident care and comfort measures
- Strong observation and communication skills to report changes in condition
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Teamwork and the ability to take direction from nursing staff
