Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field and surgical instruments for a wide range of procedures
• Assist surgeons during orthopedic, neurosurgery, vascular, urology, general, and robotic cases
• Operate and troubleshoot surgical robotics equipment alongside the surgical team
• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide instruments and supplies promptly to keep cases flowing
• Participate in pre-op and post-op room turnover to maintain efficiency and patient safety
• Respond to on-call requests as required and support urgent or emergent procedures

Qualifications

• Hands-on surgical tech experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Vascular, General Surgery, and Urology (explicitly required)
• Experience with GyneTech procedures is a plus
• Ability to work a 4/10 day schedule and be available for on-call shifts as required
• Familiarity with surgical robotics systems and instrumentation in the OR
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient safety focus

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Sterile technique and surgical instrumentation knowledge across multiple specialties
• Robotics setup, scrub assistance, and basic troubleshooting
• Patient positioning and operative workflow for ortho, neuro, vascular, urology, and general cases
• Efficient room turnover and supply management
• Calm, clear communication during high-pressure situations
• Adaptability to varied case schedules (no guaranteed block schedule)
