Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on direct patient care including hygiene, mobility assistance, and comfort measures
• Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers and patient positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
• Support restorative and rehabilitative care plans under the guidance of licensed staff
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families by communicating respectfully and clearly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (T-CNA accepted)
• Active credentials required by the assigning facility and state of practice
• Comfort with 12+ hour night shifts and the ability to maintain focus and clinical accuracy overnight
• Reliable, compassionate attitude with strong patient-centered values
• Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fundamentals of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
• Accurate documentation and charting skills
• Familiarity with infection control, patient safety, and mobility techniques
• Clear verbal and written communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
