Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility)
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Document care and observations accurately and timely in resident records
- Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to prevent falls
- Follow infection control procedures and facility policies to keep everyone safe
- Collaborate with the care team to create and maintain a respectful, resident-centered environment
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential (VT required; NH credential acceptable as indicated)
- Ability to work the 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM shift for the duration of the assignment
- Comfort working in long-term care or rehabilitation settings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain if required
Education
- LNA/CNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in safe patient handling and ADL assistance
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety protocols
- Accurate charting and documentation practices
- Ability to observe and report clinical changes
- Compassionate resident-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
- Time management and prioritization in a busy care environment
