Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility)
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
• Document care and observations accurately and timely in resident records
• Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to prevent falls
• Follow infection control procedures and facility policies to keep everyone safe
• Collaborate with the care team to create and maintain a respectful, resident-centered environment

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential (VT required; NH credential acceptable as indicated)
• Ability to work the 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM shift for the duration of the assignment
• Comfort working in long-term care or rehabilitation settings
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain if required

Education

• LNA/CNA certification (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in safe patient handling and ADL assistance
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safety protocols
• Accurate charting and documentation practices
• Ability to observe and report clinical changes
• Compassionate resident-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
• Time management and prioritization in a busy care environment
