Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate, person-centered support that preserves dignity and independence
• Take and record basic vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Document care thoroughly in the patient record to ensure continuity
• Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and families to coordinate care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Required: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (T-CNA accepted)
• Travel CNA experience preferred and a willingness to adapt to new settings
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• CNA certification required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
• Proficient with basic vital signs and observation of resident condition
• Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
• Good documentation and charting habits
• Strong interpersonal skills for resident and family interactions
• Ability to follow care plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptability to different facility routines and resident needs
