Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accurately
- Monitor patient condition, report changes promptly to the care team, and support timely interventions
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists and support staff to deliver coordinated care plans
- Maintain thorough, timely charting and ensure regulatory and facility documentation standards are met
- Support a positive environment by educating patients and families and answering care-related questions
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – current, active license
- Demonstrated ability to work the scheduled 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day shift
- Comfortable with medication administration, basic patient assessments and documentation
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to team-based care
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma/certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental nursing skills: vital signs, wound care basics, ADL support
- Accurate medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Patient-focused communication and the ability to educate families clearly
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical setting and escalate concerns appropriately
- Familiarity with electronic health records and point-of-care charting (facility-specific training provided)
