Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor patient condition and accurately document changes and vital information
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote patient comfort
• Support the interdisciplinary team by following care plans and communicating needs
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Offer emotional support and engage residents in social and therapeutic activities

Qualifications

• Active CNA or T-CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant required)
• Valid authorization to work in the state of New Mexico
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfort with night shift responsibilities and working in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic nursing care and assistance with ADLs
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Accurate documentation and charting skills
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Compassionate patient interaction and dignity-focused care
