Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support nursing staff with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
- Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and changes in status clearly
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention practices
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and the care team
- Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to patient-centered care plans
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) — required
- T-CNA (listed as a primary skill for this role)
- Current, valid certification in the state where you’ll be working
- Comfort with 12+ hour day shifts and a positive, team-first attitude
- Willingness to comply with facility onboarding requirements
Education
- CNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in patient care and ADLs
- Comfortable with basic vital signs measurement and documentation
- Good time management, attention to detail, and infection control practices
- Clear, compassionate communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate changes in patient condition
