Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate the Philips Brilliance 64 CT scanner to perform high-quality scans for ER and inpatient populations
• Prepare patients for CT procedures, including contrast administration when indicated
• Accurately document exams in Epic EMR and manage images in PACS (Synapse)
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to prioritize and coordinate patient care in a high-paced environment
• Maintain compliance with Trinity competency checks and facility licensing requirements
• Ensure patient safety by following BLS protocols and infection control/fit testing guidance

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• New York State license with contrast injection competency (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience working with ER and inpatient populations
• Experience with Epic EMR and PACS (Synapse)
• Hands-on experience with Philips Brilliance 64 or similar CT platforms
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty competency testing as required
• Ability to meet facility health requirements (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, influenza, fit test, TB screening, etc.) and pass a Trinity 10-panel drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in CT scanning protocols and image acquisition
• Proficient with PACS image management (Synapse)
• Comfortable documenting and retrieving information in Epic EMR
• Competent in contrast injection techniques and safety procedures
• Strong patient positioning, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency and inpatient imaging environment
