Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other week and every other holiday (EOW & EOH). Night shift, no call required.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan in a fast paced ED environment
- Rapidly assess, triage and prioritize patients to ensure timely, lifesaving interventions
- Perform clinical procedures and manage critical care needs while maintaining accurate documentation in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families with compassion and clear communication during stressful situations
- Participate in required competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical excellence
- Adhere to infection control, safety and licensing requirements to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (must meet state licensing verification requirements)
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required
- TNCC certification required
- Experience using Epic or similar electronic health record strongly preferred
- Ability to complete Trinity specialty competency testing, Trinity skills checklist, and required health screenings
- Willingness to work a travel contract and meet the non-local requirement (must be 75+ miles from facility)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency assessment and triage skills with the ability to prioritize quickly
- Proficiency with Epic documentation and electronic charting workflows
- Knowledge of advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support protocols
- Skilled in IV therapy, medication administration and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork in high acuity settings
- Comfort working nights in a busy emergency department
