Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (specific days not specified)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Monitor resident condition and behavior, promptly reporting changes to nursing staff
- Document care accurately and timely in the facility charting system
- Provide compassionate companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities
- Collaborate with the care team to follow care plans and promote resident dignity
- Observe and follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or state equivalent (required)
- Valid state GNA/CNA license or eligibility to work in Maryland
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
- Basic life support or CPR certification preferred
- Ability to pass facility health requirements (immunizations, TB screening) and background checks
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable with hands-on resident care and mobility assistance
- Familiarity with dementia and geriatric care principles
- Skilled in safe transfer techniques and fall prevention strategies
- Good documentation habits and basic charting experience
- Team player who communicates clearly with nurses, therapists, and families
- Awareness of infection control practices and resident safety standards
