Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Sagora Senior Living
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and follow facility protocols
- Assess and document resident conditions, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow resident-centered care plans
- Educate residents and families about care needs, safety, and health maintenance
- Support a respectful environment that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (or equivalent) ready to practice in West Virginia
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or senior care preferred
- Comfortable with medication administration, documentation, and basic nursing procedures
- Clear background check and required immunizations
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program; high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and accurate documentation
- Vital signs, basic wound care, and routine nursing assessments
- Person-centered care principles and dementia-friendly approaches
- Familiarity with electronic charting or paper charting systems
- Ability to collaborate with nursing staff, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members
