Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in an assisted living setting
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Perform routine assessments and report changes in condition promptly
• Collaborate with care team members to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence
• Maintain accurate clinical records using facility charting systems
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies and communicate with families

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (West Virginia) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required or must obtain upon hire
• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior living preferred
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB screening per facility policy
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• High school diploma or GED required; LPN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic nursing assessments and vital signs monitoring
• Infection control and universal precautions
• Familiarity with electronic medical records or charting systems
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in a busy care environment
• Customer service approach when working with residents and families
