Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in an assisted living setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Monitor residents’ condition and promptly report changes to the care team
• Document care and observations clearly in the resident record
• Collaborate with nursing staff and leadership to ensure continuity of care
• Educate residents and families on care plans, medications and safety
• Support daily living activities and promote dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in West Virginia or eligibility for state licensure
• CPR/BLS certification (current) required
• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care or senior care preferred
• Clean background check and ability to pass a drug screen
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or certificate)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and accurate MAR documentation
• Basic wound care and post-op or chronic care familiarity
• Resident assessment and early recognition of clinical changes
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and charting
• Time management and prioritization in a busy care environment
• Empathy, patience and strong interpersonal skills
