Shift Type: Monday-Friday (typical 4x10s), 07:15 AM - 05:45 PM Day shift; occasional Saturdays as needed; assignments may rotate among nearby outpatient centers (~15 minutes apart)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic and screening mammography exams with attention to patient comfort and image quality
- Operate and maintain Hologic mammography systems and associated DEXA equipment accurately and safely
- Assist with image-guided procedures such as wire localization and breast biopsies, coordinating closely with radiologists
- Document and maintain patient records in EPIC and PenRad, and manage images in Sectra PACS
- Apply radiation safety and quality control procedures to ensure compliant, reliable imaging
- Communicate results and procedure steps clearly and compassionately to patients and care teams
- Collaborate with lead technologists and onsite radiologists to optimize department workflow and patient care
- Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to a positive outpatient imaging experience
Qualifications
- ARRT (Mammo) certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (per site policy)
- Minimum 2 years of diagnostic and screening mammography experience
- Experience with EPIC, PenRad, and Sectra PACS preferred
- Comfort with Hologic mammography systems; GE DEXA experience is a plus
- Valid state radiologic technologist license or ability to submit license for credentialing
Education
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program
- ARRT (Mammo) certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of mammography screening and diagnostic imaging protocols
- Familiarity with DEXA scanning and positioning techniques
- Skilled in wire localization and biopsy assistance workflow
- Proficient with EPIC, PenRad, and Sectra PACS charting/image management
- Excellent patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality assurance skills
- Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and outpatient imaging best practices
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
