Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekdays and weekends; typical 8- or 10-hour shifts (examples: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM). Longer 12-, 16- or 24-hour shifts may also be available. Weekend coverage expected. Rotating (day and evening) schedule with float between Novi and Southfield locations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality intraoperative anesthesia care for neuro, endoscopy, and radiology cases
• Place arterial lines and manage hemodynamic monitoring for assigned patients
• Float between Novi and Southfield locations as assigned to support patient needs
• Work within a supervised CRNA model (4:1), collaborating closely with physician colleagues
• Manage a high daily case volume across sites while maintaining patient safety and efficiency
• Adhere to credentialing, licensure, and facility policies (clean background and no license actions required)
• Communicate clearly with perioperative teams to ensure smooth patient handoffs and continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active CRNA license preferred at time of submission
• Experience in neuro, endoscopy, and radiology anesthesia (limited pediatric cases may be encountered)
• Proficiency in arterial line placement
• Comfort working in a supervised CRNA model (4:1)
• Willingness to float between Novi and Southfield and work varied shift lengths, including weekends
• Clean professional background with no license actions

Knowledge & Skills

• Neuroanesthesia techniques and intraoperative management
• Endoscopy and interventional radiology anesthesia practices
• Arterial line placement and invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with regional anesthesia and nerve blocks (physicians often perform blocks)
• Ability to manage moderate-to-high case volumes efficiently
• Adaptability to changing assignments and strong teamwork/communication skills
