Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to geriatric residents and their families
• Perform competency-based tasks as required by Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient conditions and interventions
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including completion of Fit Test requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Participate in license and certificate verification processes and maintain required credentials

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing (required)
• Successful License/Certificate Verification as part of onboarding
• Current fit testing as required by facility
• Previous experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred
• Availability for open per diem assignments

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and patient observation skills
• Clear communication with residents, families, and care teams
• Familiarity with documentation systems and maintaining accurate records
• Ability to follow facility policies, safety protocols, and competency checklists
• Compassion, patience, and a calm approach to working with older adults
