Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; schedule days vary, every-other-weekend coverage required (OT available but not guaranteed)
Hours per Week: 37
Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living to preserve dignity and comfort
- Safely assist residents with mobility, transfers, feeding, and personal hygiene
- Accurately document care, observations, and interventions in the patient's record
- Communicate clearly and collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and family members to support care plans
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly
- Support infection control and safety protocols to maintain a healthy environment
- Contribute positively to team morale and help create a welcoming atmosphere for residents
Qualifications
- Current LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (Travel LNA experience a plus)
- Willingness to work evenings (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and every-other-weekend as required
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Comfort with overtime when available and flexibility to meet facility needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Education
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of ADLs, safe transfer techniques, and basic patient care
- Basic understanding of infection control and safety procedures
- Good documentation practices and comfort using electronic or paper charting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
