Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living to preserve dignity and comfort
• Safely assist residents with mobility, transfers, feeding, and personal hygiene
• Accurately document care, observations, and interventions in the patient's record
• Communicate clearly and collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and family members to support care plans
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly
• Support infection control and safety protocols to maintain a healthy environment
• Contribute positively to team morale and help create a welcoming atmosphere for residents

Qualifications

• Current LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (Travel LNA experience a plus)
• Willingness to work evenings (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and every-other-weekend as required
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility
• Comfort with overtime when available and flexibility to meet facility needs
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of ADLs, safe transfer techniques, and basic patient care
• Basic understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Good documentation practices and comfort using electronic or paper charting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
