Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (day); weekends as needed for urgent coverage

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide client-centered occupational therapy evaluations and create meaningful treatment plans
- Deliver skilled interventions that improve independence with activities of daily living
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists and family members to support continuity of care
- Document accurately and timely in the facility electronic medical record
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment recommendations
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve measurable functional outcomes
Qualifications
- Current California Occupational Therapist license (OT)
- Active NBCOT certification or equivalent preferred
- State-required immunizations and clear background checks
- Excellent clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team
- Previous experience in rehab, outpatient or skilled nursing settings preferred
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Master's or OTD preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ADL and IADL assessment and intervention
- Proficient with adaptive equipment recommendations and home safety evaluations
- Experience with documentation standards and electronic medical records
- Strong clinical reasoning and measurable goal-writing
- Ability to coach patients and families in functional transfers and energy conservation
