Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in the medical record
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques
- Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary meetings
- Adapt treatment approaches to meet the needs of patients in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation setting
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain one quickly
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master's in Physical Therapy acceptable where applicable
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, or post-acute care preferred
- Ability to work all scheduled days, including weekends
- Clear background check and up-to-date vaccinations per facility policy
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation skills, and teamwork mindset
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in musculoskeletal and neuromuscular assessment
- Proficient with therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and gait training
- Experience with assistive devices, transfers, and fall prevention strategies
- Excellent documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) skills
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Knowledge of discharge planning and community resources
- Ability to prioritize caseload and manage time effectively
