Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered therapeutic interventions under the direction of a licensed PT
- Implement treatment plans focused on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Monitor patient progress and communicate clinically relevant changes to the PT
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies
- Document care accurately and timely in the facility records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize rehabilitation outcomes
Qualifications
- Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Prior experience in a rehab or post-acute setting preferred
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and mobility assistance
- Knowledge of common modalities and assistive devices
- Strong documentation and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary rehab team
