Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents during the overnight shift
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in condition promptly
• Document care accurately and thoroughly to ensure continuity across shifts
• Support nurses and other care team members with treatments and safe transfers
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times
• Participate in thorough shift handoffs to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; T-CNA (travel CNA) credential preferred
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Ability to pass required background check, drug screen, and health screenings
• Current immunizations per facility policy and basic infection-control training
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in safe patient handling and transfers
• Competent with vital signs, basic clinical observations, and ADL assistance
• Comfortable with documentation and basic electronic charting
• Knowledge of infection control practices and resident safety principles
• Reliable time management, situational awareness, and teamwork
