Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct resident care including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility assistance
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and independence
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and timely in the facility record system
• Support safe transfers and fall prevention practices
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists and families to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA or T-CNA certification (required)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet the 36-hour guarantee
• Comfortable providing hands-on resident care in a long-term care setting
• Able to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
• Reliable, team-oriented, and ready to bring empathy and energy to each shift

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of activities of daily living and basic patient care
• Skillful in safe resident handling and transfer techniques
• Good observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
• Clear communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
