Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Support residents with safe mobility, transfers and positioning
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and timely to maintain excellent continuity
- Help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Communicate respectfully with residents and families to promote dignity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver person centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Travel CNA (T-CNA) experience or prior travel assignments preferred
- Ability to complete facility onboarding, background checks and health screening
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and following facility policies
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, patient centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with personal care and ADLs
- Basic vital sign measurement and reporting
- Infection control and safe patient handling practices
- Clear documentation and time management skills
- Teamwork, communication and resident advocacy
