Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care during a 12-hour night shift at the assigned facility
- Perform thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and document accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe patient transitions
- Monitor and respond to patient changes, escalating concerns appropriately
- Educate patients and families with compassion and clear communication
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in good standing (Travel LPN or Travel RN classification applies)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications preferred as applicable
- Clinical experience in relevant care area; prior travel assignment experience is a plus
- Ability to pass facility onboarding, background checks, and health screenings
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Education
- LPN: Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- RN: Graduation from an accredited associate or bachelor's nursing program (ADN/BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid patient assessment and monitoring skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and patient-centered communication
- Basic emergency response and crisis management skills
