Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during night shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings to the team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to protocol
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Support safe transitions of care and participate in bedside reporting

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Comfortable working independently on night shift and escalating concerns appropriately
• Previous clinical experience in long-term care, med/surg, or similar settings is a plus
• Travel nursing experience and flexibility adapting to new facilities encouraged

Education

• Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN) or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
• Clear, professional communication and teamwork
• Proficiency with electronic health records and bedside charting
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
