Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT exams for inpatient, emergency department and outpatient populations using the GE Optima 660
- Prepare and position patients safely and compassionately, ensuring excellent patient experience and image quality
- Administer contrast and assist with IV placement on day shifts as needed, following protocols and safety guidelines
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment and ensure images are properly archived to McKesson PACS
- Document procedures, findings and patient information accurately in EPIC
- Communicate effectively with on-site radiologists (available 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) and the CT lead to expedite patient care
- Maintain radiation safety practices and your personal dosimeter/rad badge (bring your own badge)
- Participate in departmental orientation, quality improvement and team huddles to maintain high standards of care
Qualifications
- Washington State radiologic technologist license required at time of submittal
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience
- Proven IV placement skills for day-shift responsibilities
- Must provide your own radiation badge
- Comfortable working Saturday–Monday schedule and participating in weekly on-call rotation
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with CT protocols and trauma/ED imaging
- Experience operating GE Optima 660 or similar CT scanners
- Comfortable using EPIC for charting and McKesson PACS for image management
- Strong patient care, positioning and contrast administration skills
- Radiation safety and dosimetry awareness
- Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced acute care setting
