Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound exams including vascular studies and obstetrics across all three trimesters
• Conduct ultrasound-guided procedures as required by the department
• Accurately document studies and findings in EPIC and archive images in Fuji PACS
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure timely, high-quality patient care
• Maintain equipment readiness and troubleshoot common ultrasound unit issues
• Provide patient-centered care with clear communication and compassionate support during exams
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours imaging needs when scheduled

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification or RVS credential through CCI (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of sonography experience
• Comfortable performing general ultrasound, vascular, and OB exams (all trimesters)
• Able to submit a valid driver’s license (60 mile radius requirement) and be in-state for orientation week
• Echo experience (RDCS) is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in general ultrasound, vascular imaging, and obstetric sonography
• Familiarity with EPIC (EpicCare/Inpatient) charting
• Experience using Fuji PACS and working with Toshiba and Phillips ultrasound units
• Strong image acquisition and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with radiologists and tech leads
