Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care and assist with activities of daily living
- Perform direct patient care tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor resident condition and promptly communicate changes to nursing staff
- Document care accurately and maintain clear, professional records
- Support a positive and respectful environment for residents and their families
- Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Current and valid LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification required
- T-LNA or related specialty certification preferred
- Ability to work evenings and both weekends as required by the assignment
- Reliable personal transportation and local housing arranged by the traveler (must have own transportation and housing)
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; LNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Competent in resident personal care and ADLs
- Basic clinical observation and reporting skills
- Comfortable with documentation and charting requirements
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safety practices
- Good time management and the ability to work independently when needed
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with residents and families
