Shift Type: Monday-Friday (with Saturday rotation; weekend rotations), 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, including 3-D mammography using Hologic 3D equipment
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and clear education to patients before, during, and after exams
- Accurately document imaging and patient data in the charting system (Epic preferred)
- Collaborate with radiologists and the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, accurate results
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and facility quality assurance protocols
- Manage a busy daily caseload (approximately 150 exams) with efficiency and attention to detail
- Float to different departments within the main campus as needed to support patient care
Qualifications
- California Mammography Technologist license (required)
- ARRT(M) preferred; ARRT(R) is a plus
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience (screening/diagnostic and 3-D experience preferred)
- Comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Willingness to float across departments and participate in scheduled weekend rotations
- First-time travelers welcome
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with Hologic 3D mammography systems
- Strong knowledge of screening and diagnostic mammography techniques
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic charting systems
- Solid understanding of radiation safety and quality control procedures
- Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy
