Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, including 3-D mammography using Hologic 3D equipment
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and clear education to patients before, during, and after exams
• Accurately document imaging and patient data in the charting system (Epic preferred)
• Collaborate with radiologists and the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, accurate results
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and facility quality assurance protocols
• Manage a busy daily caseload (approximately 150 exams) with efficiency and attention to detail
• Float to different departments within the main campus as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

• California Mammography Technologist license (required)
• ARRT(M) preferred; ARRT(R) is a plus
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience (screening/diagnostic and 3-D experience preferred)
• Comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Willingness to float across departments and participate in scheduled weekend rotations
• First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Hologic 3D mammography systems
• Strong knowledge of screening and diagnostic mammography techniques
• Experience with Epic or similar electronic charting systems
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and quality control procedures
• Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy
