Shift Type: Day 4x10-hour schedule, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (typical Monday-Thursday); rotational on-call coverage including one weekday every two weeks and one weekend (Friday–Sunday) every 4-6 weekends; may include Sunday shift depending on rotation (Day/Rotating)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality transthoracic and pediatric echocardiography exams to support accurate cardiac diagnosis
- Conduct transesophageal (TEE) and stress echo studies as required, following protocol and safety guidelines
- Operate imaging systems including PACS and Philips consoles, and document results in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to review findings and prioritize patient care
- Provide compassionate, developmentally appropriate care for neonates, infants, pediatrics and adults
- Maintain equipment, ensure infection control and assist with specialty procedures such as bubble studies and contrast imaging when needed
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely, professional response for urgent imaging needs
Qualifications
- RDCS-Adult or CCI RCS certification required (either one is acceptable)
- Current State of Oregon license
- Minimum 2 years of echocardiography experience (hospital experience is a hard requirement)
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Comfortable working in Adult and Pediatric settings; trauma/ED experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in transthoracic echocardiography (Adult and Pediatric) and TEE
- Familiarity with stress echo protocols (treadmill and pharmacologic)
- Experience with 3-D echo, contrast imaging and bubble studies
- Comfortable with PACS and Philips imaging systems
- Skilled in neonatal/NICU imaging and complex pediatric anomalies
- Strong patient communication, documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
