Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Day); 5x8 schedule with variable on-call and weekends as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, lower extremity arterial and venous, dialysis grafts, arterial graft studies and stent evaluations
- Conduct Doppler, duplex and color flow exams and arterial mapping with accuracy and attention to detail
- Document findings in the charting system and PACS promptly and clearly to support clinical decision-making
- Collaborate with radiologists, vascular surgeons and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment (GE, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite) and participate in basic troubleshooting and QA
- Provide compassionate patient care and education, ensuring comfort and safety during procedures
- Adhere to infection control, safety policies and facility guidelines while maintaining vascular certification standards
- Contribute to department efficiency by managing an expected workload of about 8 studies per day
Qualifications
- Vascular certification required (RVT/RVS or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience
- BLS preferred
- CCI RVS and RDCS - RVT strongly preferred
- Experience with Transcranial Doppler is a plus
- Comfortable using PACS and common charting systems
- Familiarity with GE, Philips, Siemens and SonoSite ultrasound systems
Knowledge & Skills
- Vascular imaging: Doppler, Duplex, Color Flow
- Carotid, lower extremity arterial and venous studies
- Arterial mapping and arterial graft studies
- Dialysis graft and stent evaluation
- Transcranial Doppler (preferred)
- PACS and charting proficiency
- Ability to manage ~8 studies per day with accuracy
- Basic ultrasound equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
