Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3x12 per week (self-scheduled based on seniority). Day shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (start times include 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM). Night shift: 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM (start times include 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM). Specific days vary and schedules are assigned by seniority; must be open to all shift times.

Hours per Week: 60

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging for adult acute care, outpatient and emergency department patients
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for reactions
• Operate GE and Toshiba 64-slice CT scanners and manage PACS workflow
• Execute advanced protocols such as coronary CTA, brain perfusion and vascular CTA
• Assist with image-guided procedures including aspirations, biopsies and drainages
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-volume stroke and ED cases
• Maintain radiation safety practices and ensure accurate documentation in Epic

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification (ARRT CT or ARRT R accepted); ARRT Advanced preferred
• California CRT or equivalent state radiologic technologist license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience (first-time travel technologists are welcome)
• Experience in community or acute care settings preferred
• Comfortable with high-volume ED and stroke workflows and working various shifts

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
• ARRT certification and state CRT licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in CT imaging, image acquisition and protocol selection
• Preparation and administration of contrast media and monitoring patient reactions
• Radiation safety principles and best practices
• Proficiency with Epic charting and PACS workflows; Fuji Synapse experience a plus
• Experience with GE and Toshiba CT scanners (64-slice systems)
• Familiarity with advanced imaging: coronary CTA, brain perfusion, vascular CTA
• Ability to assist with procedures: aspirations, biopsies and drainages
