Shift Type: 4x10 day schedule (4 days per week), 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM day shift; On-call 3 nights per week (2 hours per night, no weekends); Rotating weekend on-call every 4th weekend; Guaranteed 70 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for one 10-hour shift per 2 weeks)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform EKG lead placement and accurate cardiac monitoring to support diagnostic and procedural care
- Scrub and maintain a sterile field during Cath and EP procedures to ensure patient safety
- Assist with electrophysiology studies including arrhythmia induction, cardiac mapping, and ablation
- Support device procedures such as pacemaker and AICD insertion and programming
- Help with left and right heart catheterizations, PCI/PTCA, Impella insertion and other interventional procedures
- Monitor hemodynamics and provide timely, clear communication to the care team
- Operate charting and lab systems such as Epic and McKesson for accurate documentation
- Float to Cath Lab as needed and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless care
- Participate in on-call coverage and respond promptly during assigned call hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Cath/EP or interventional lab experience
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Required credential: ARRT (R) or RCES; RCIS or ARRT for Cath Lab work strongly preferred
- Familiarity with McKesson and Epic charting systems is preferred
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities (3 nights/week brief calls and rotating weekend call)
- Willingness to float to Cath Lab within scope of practice
- Locals not accepted: permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
Knowledge & Skills
- Electrophysiology lab and cardiac cath lab procedural workflow
- EKG lead placement and rhythm interpretation
- Hemodynamic monitoring and accurate peri-procedural monitoring
- Experience with pacemaker/AICD insertion, programming, and CRM devices
- Cardiac ablation, mapping, and conduction studies
- Left and right heart catheterization, PCI/PTCA, Impella and temporary LVAD support familiarity
- Interventional radiology procedures, peripheral interventions, atherectomy and thrombectomy devices
- Familiarity with Philips X-ray systems, MacLab/Cardio Lab, Epic and McKesson systems
