Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Room patients efficiently and compassionately, preparing them for clinician visits
- Obtain and document vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry, and perform 12-lead EKGs
- Support telephone triage and manage in-basket messages to keep patient care moving
- Prepare charts and assist with authorization forms so clinicians have what they need
- Process insurance verifications and handle pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
- Float between nearby clinics within scope of practice to meet facility needs
- Perform general office duties to keep the clinic running smoothly and patients on schedule
- Contribute to a positive patient experience and collaborate with the care team
Qualifications
- BLS certification required
- EPIC charting experience required
- At least 6 months experience working as a Medical Assistant; cardiology experience preferred but primary care experience is acceptable
- MA-C preferred; MA-R or pending licenses will be considered
- High school diploma or GED required
- Reliable personal transportation required due to travel to satellite clinics
- Willingness to float to nearby clinics (Edmonds, Ballard, Redmond, Bellevue) as needed
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (MA-C preferred; MA-R acceptable)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC charting and electronic clinical workflows
- Skilled at obtaining 12-lead EKGs and performing basic cardiac assessments
- Strong ability to take and document vital signs accurately
- Comfortable with telephone triage and patient communication
- Experience with insurance verification, authorization forms, and pharmacy refill coordination
- Excellent rooming skills and outpatient clinic workflow experience
