Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate adult and geriatric patients across acute, medical, ICU and inpatient rehab settings to create meaningful treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions that improve patient function and independence
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians and rehab team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity
- Manage caseload efficiently to meet productivity expectations (typically 9-11 patients/day) while maintaining quality
- Float between units as needed, providing flexible coverage and stepping in where patient needs arise
- Document assessments and progress clearly and professionally using Epic charting
- Coach patients and families on safe functional activities and discharge recommendations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience (acute care experience required)
- Experience in acute care; inpatient rehabilitation experience is a strong plus
- Comfort floating between units including ICU, medical/surgical and inpatient rehab
- Proven time management skills and the ability to keep a busy schedule full
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interdisciplinary teamwork
- Familiarity with Epic charting preferred
- Able to evaluate and treat a broad range of diagnoses (multi-trauma, SCI, CVA, ortho, neuro conditions)
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatment planning in acute and inpatient rehab settings
- Functional splints, orthoplast and static splinting techniques
- Edema massage and kinesiotaping modalities
- Prosthetics/orthotics familiarity
- Ability to manage 9-11 patients per day while maintaining quality care
- Strong teamwork, adaptability and independent problem-solving
