Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Day (5x8); Call required with 30-minute response
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging and X-ray exams with attention to image quality and patient safety across age groups (pediatrics to geriatrics)
- Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs when required
- Execute special CT procedures including brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, transplant studies and vascular CTA
- Provide timely imaging for stroke and cardiac center protocols in a freestanding ED environment
- Operate and maintain GE imaging systems and PACS, and perform multiplanar reconstruction as needed
- Chart accurately and promptly in EPIC to support continuity of care
- Collaborate closely with ED clinicians, triage teams and support staff to ensure excellent patient experience
- Support fluoroscopy and X-ray studies (extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal) as required
Qualifications
- ARRT and ARRT RT (R) (CT) certifications (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Washington state license (WA LIC) (required)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant CT/X-ray experience
- Comfortable working independently in an Emergency Department and outpatient setting
- Experience with GE imaging systems and PACS
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Able to respond to call within 30 minutes when scheduled
- First-time travelers welcome — travel experience is not required
Knowledge & Skills
- CT imaging fundamentals and advanced protocols (brain perfusion, coronary and vascular CTA)
- Contrast administration best practices and peripheral IV insertion
- Plain film X-ray and fluoroscopy studies across anatomy (extremities, abdomen/GI, spine, chest, head)
- Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and post-processing
- Hands-on experience with GE systems, PACS, and familiarity with C-arm / Shimatzu X-ray preferred
- Stroke and cardiac imaging workflow knowledge
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills
- Accurate electronic charting in EPIC
