Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Day). Flex start window 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM and flex end window 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM. No weekends.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging and procedures to support accurate diagnoses
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment with attention to safety and image quality
- Follow radiation safety and state regulatory requirements to protect patients and staff
- Provide compassionate patient care, including positioning, monitoring, and clear communication
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records according to facility protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and float to sister facilities when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine
- Certification by NMTCB or ARRT (required)
- Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technology license (required)
- Current CPR card required; BLS and CNMT are preferred
- Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed
- First-time travelers welcome — great for clinicians new to travel assignments
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging protocols and best practices
- Radiation safety and regulatory compliance for California
- Patient positioning, monitoring, and bedside communication
- Experience working with gamma cameras/SPECT equipment and image acquisition
- Ability to document procedures accurately and work within clinical workflows
