Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as part of the allied health team
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinicians to coordinate patient plans
- Operate and maintain clinical equipment safely and accurately
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the medical record promptly
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families to support positive experiences
- Adapt quickly to unit workflows and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant allied healthcare experience
- Current, unrestricted state licensure or certification for the specific allied role
- Basic Life Support BLS required; advanced certifications such as ACLS or specialty credentials preferred when applicable
- Ability to pass facility onboarding, background check, and any required drug screening
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Willingness to take on travel assignments and work flexible schedules
Education
- Associate degree, diploma, or certificate in relevant allied health field
- Bachelor's degree preferred where applicable
- Completion of accredited program for your specialty and any required clinical training
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and patient care skills relevant to your allied discipline
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation
- Comfortable operating and troubleshooting common clinical equipment
- Teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient safety
- Professionalism, adaptability, and patient-focused bedside manner
