Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT procedures accurately and efficiently while prioritizing patient safety
• Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after imaging exams
• Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring proper positioning and image quality
• Communicate clearly with the medical staff about findings, procedure status, and patient needs
• Document procedures, patient interactions, and safety checks thoroughly and promptly
• Follow infection control and radiation safety protocols at all times
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and help maintain CT department standards

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license required
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
• Current BLS certification required
• One (1) year of CT experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients and clinical teams
• Ability to perform physical tasks described in the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) procedures and protocols
• Anatomy and physiology knowledge to support accurate imaging and patient communication
• Radiologic technology principles and radiation safety
• Patient care best practices and compassionate bedside manner
• Clear verbal and written communication for documenting and coordinating care
