Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and support ACT clinicians, providing clinical guidance and oversight
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Lead crisis intervention efforts and ensure clients receive timely care
- Manage clinician timekeeping using Kronos and oversee scheduling
- Foster collaboration across Outpatient Clinic disciplines to improve client outcomes
- Monitor ACT services and update practices to reflect current treatment philosophies
- Educate clients about mental health concerns and evidence-based interventions
- Attend and contribute to interdepartmental meetings to champion best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a human services related field (social work, counseling, MFT, psychology)
- Completed clinical practicum as part of the Master’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting
- Appropriate Alaska licensure (LCSW or LPC) required within 6 months of hire
- Clinical supervisory experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and comfort using standard office tools (Kronos experience a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Preference noted for three (3) years of sobriety if applicant is in recovery
Education
- Master's degree in a human services related field (Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology)
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions
- Crisis management and short-term therapeutic support
- Trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered approaches
- EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing
- Clinical supervision and team leadership
- Interdepartmental collaboration and consensus-building
- Client education and rapport-building
- Proficiency with Kronos timekeeping and basic office technology
