Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, schedule varies and includes every other weekend (rotating/night coverage)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage and assess emergency patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care
- Provide advanced cardiac monitoring and intervene as needed to stabilize patients
- Deliver high-quality patient care across a high-volume ED environment
- Manage patient ratios effectively while advocating for safe staffing and patient safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, timely care
- Coach and give real-time feedback to colleagues to support a learning culture
- Document care clearly and thoroughly in Cerner to maintain continuity and compliance
- Support excellent patient experience using AIDET and continuous communication
Qualifications
- Active RN (Registered Nurse) credential (required)
- Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ER setting
- Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
- ENPC required within 90 days of hire
- Experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and high-volume ED (>100,000 visits) preferred
- Previous HCA experience preferred
- Comfortable floating within ED sections and working every other weekend
Education

- Strong triage skills and emergency nursing judgment
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency procedures familiarity
- Experience with Cerner documentation system
- Familiarity with Baxter infusion pumps and GE monitors
- Ability to manage high patient volumes and variable patient ratios
- Excellent teamwork, communication, coaching, and feedback skills
- Commitment to patient experience principles and bedside communication
