Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety
• Operate and support GE Innova imaging systems and ensure equipment is set up and functioning for procedures
• Prepare and handle specialty devices such as stents and balloons, and assist with angiograms and related procedures
• Document procedures accurately in Meditech and MacLab, supporting clear communication and continuity of care
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and the Cath Lab team to optimize patient flow and outcomes
• Respond to on-call activations promptly and provide calm, competent support during urgent cases
• Participate in unit quality improvement and safety initiatives to keep standards high and patients safe

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS and ARRT required — candidates without these certificates will not be considered
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or equivalent interventional setting
• Competency in Special Procedures and hands-on experience with GE Innova imaging systems
• Comfortable scrubbing cases and working with stents, balloons and angiogram procedures
• RCIS certification is preferred and will be considered a strong plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a close knit team, adapt to frequent on-call demands, and maintain patient focused care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong working knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and Cath Lab workflows
• Experience with GE Innova imaging systems and familiarity with Meditech and MacLab electronic charting
• Skilled at scrubbing, instrument handling, and assisting in a fast paced interventional environment
• Familiarity with stents, balloons, angiograms and ENT lab procedures
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills
