Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct skilled speech-language and swallowing evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to skilled nursing residents
- Document progress clearly and timely to meet facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary therapy and nursing team to optimize patient outcomes
- Meet productivity expectations and contribute positively to team performance
- Adhere to Continuum Rehabilitation Group policies and facility protocols
- Maintain professional appearance and follow dress code (black scrubs)
Qualifications
- Active SLP license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- 1-3 years of clinical experience (SNF experience preferred)
- Comfortable working day shift schedules in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a therapy team
- Willingness to follow facility policies and meet productivity expectations
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent professional credential)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders
- Experience with documentation and clinical productivity expectations
- Ability to create meaningful, person-centered treatment plans
- Good time management, organization, and clinical decision-making
- Familiarity with SNF workflows and interdisciplinary collaboration
