Shift Type: Rotating inpatient shifts — mix of 24-hour, 10-hour, and 8-hour shifts; schedule includes day and night coverage and weekends as needed (rotating)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care to neonates in a Level III NICU
- Perform thorough neonatal assessments and lead daily rounds
- Manage ongoing care for critically ill and premature infants in collaboration with neonatologists
- Coordinate care during multidisciplinary rounds with nursing and ancillary teams
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic EMR
- Educate and counsel families about neonatal conditions and treatment plans with empathy
- Stabilize and support high-risk newborns during acute and ongoing management
- Adhere to hospital protocols and quality standards to ensure safe, consistent care
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) program
- Board eligible providers are welcome — new grads truly board eligible encouraged to apply
- Comfortable practicing within a physician-supervised, team-based model (this is not autonomous practice)
- Experience or comfort working in a Level III NICU and managing critically ill/premature infants
- Experience with Epic EMR for clinical documentation
- Must be able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (not accepting visa candidates)
- Not accepting Locums providers
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong neonatal clinical assessment skills and keen attention to subtle changes
- Skilled in NICU patient management and stabilization of high-risk newborns
- Proficient with Epic EMR documentation and timely charting
- Effective interdisciplinary teamwork and communication with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
- Compassionate patient- and family-centered communication and education
