Shift Type: Per diem, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Day shift); specific days vary based on facility needs
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and support to geriatric residents
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing and mobility
- Monitor and document residents’ condition and report changes to nursing staff
- Support mealtime needs and ensure residents receive appropriate assistance
- Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication
- Follow care plans and contribute to a collaborative care team
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Comfortable working with older adults and providing hands-on personal care
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed Geriatric Nursing Assistant program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Safe patient handling and mobility assistance techniques
- Basic infection control and hygiene practices
- Accurate documentation and charting skills
- Ability to observe, recognize and report changes in resident status
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
