Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM NOC; days of week scheduled by facility (nights as assigned)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing activities across the facility to maintain high-quality care
- Provide direct patient care during the night shift, prioritizing safety and comfort
- Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations and facility policies
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
- Mentor and support nursing staff and nursing assistants on best practices
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Respond promptly to clinical emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately
- Lead quality improvement efforts related to nighttime operations and patient safety
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or ability to obtain state licensure
- Experience in long-term care settings; supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and managing a team overnight
- Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to pass background check and any facility-required screenings
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of long-term care practices, resident-centered care, and regulatory requirements
- Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care basics
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
- Ability to lead and coach nursing staff during night operations
- Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and emergency response abilities
- Good interpersonal skills for collaborating with families and care teams
