Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including medication administration and basic clinical treatments
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs, patient status, and care interventions
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to support continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge plans in a clear, empathetic way
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and follow facility policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable working independently while consulting with RNs and physicians as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a patient-first attitude
• Willingness to work the assigned evening shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

Education

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in vital sign assessment, medication administration, and basic wound care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation practices
• Effective patient and family communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced setting
• Basic knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
